Take a look at this photo. Notice the frost on the roof is an even thickness throughout the entire roof? The morning of this photo, the low was 30 degrees. At the time of the photo, it was 34 degrees.
This is a perfect time to determine if your building has heat loss. If there isn’t an even amount of frost on your entire roof and some areas of frost are already melted, it physically shows you where you are losing heat. And heat loss means you are paying more in heating bills.
Many times the fix for this is very reasonable for cost, especially if you have a conventional attic.
