And check these out! Very cool bulbs that are reproductions of bulbs from the early 1900s or so. THEY are NOT GREEN, but are worth buying a couple to show people the difference between old technology and new.

These bulbs are a great science fair idea for the kids. Both of my children have used these to show the technology advances through the years, all the way through to the modern-day fluorescent bulbs.

Modern day fluorescent bulbs will use 13 watts and are rated for 130 watts. The bulbs in the link below may use 60 watts and only give off 15 watts worth of light. Not very green, like I said. Totally the opposite of green. Which goes to show the advancements we have made in energy-efficiency for homes!
