Iron River will be hosting the Iron County Fair from Thursday, August 9th through Sunday, August 12th, 2018. This traditional Upper Peninsula County Fair, held at the Iron River Fairgrounds, has something for everyone all weekend long!
Fair Fun in Iron River, MI
The fair will feature arts and crafts sales all four days, along with antique farm equipment displays, 4-H exhibitions and carnival rides. Thursday’s excitement will include the Miss Iron County Fair Queen Contest and fun horse events. Enjoy live music from Jim Clements in the afternoon and Grandstand Lovin Country on Thursday evening. A kid’s coin scramble will be held at 6 p.m. and is sure to be a blast!
Friday will bring music by Old Friends and Marilyn Monsivias, among other local bands. Watch the talented performances of a ventriloquist and the Open Class Horse Show on Saturday. Saturday musical entertainment will be provided by Dan Germic and Bill Haasey. On Sunday, make sure to catch the Loggers Breakfast starting at 7 a.m. and the ever popular tractor pulls, along with melodies from Ricky Yorkovich.
